Milivoj Bošnjak

In late 2020 I co-founded a start-up that built laser-weeding robots for small fields. I designed the electronics, ran the infrastructure, and wrote the software, from the firmware to the mission control UI. At the same time I worked at an HR software company, first as a software engineer and later as a software engineering lead.

In 2022 MYKI, the password manager I used, shut down, so I built my own. I had a working version of Cryptex Vault by October that year. That's how it started, with a few friends, their families and me.

In 2025 I founded Cryptex Industries to build software you can keep running and host yourself if the company behind it goes away. Cryptex Vault, a local-first password manager, is its first product, and I also take on consulting work in infrastructure, local AI and custom software. I ran the company alongside my job until August 2026.
